The Digital Copywriter is responsible for Produces bold, strategic, persuasive messages across all forms of digital media for agency clients.
Responsibilities
- Develops concepts for digital advertising, social media, web and related digital media
- Aligns digital creative with multi-channel campaigns
- Collaborates with art directors and production team
- Delivers presentations to other members of the creative team
- Writes in a variety of styles, when needed
- Participates in strategy design as needed
- Remains current on industry trends and technologies
- Works with other Copywriters, Digital Designers, Art Directors and designated “team” personnel in production of creative materials
- Helps establish and maintain quality and award-winning work
- Strives to meet assigned deadlines. Alerts Creative Director and Director of Interactive Design if deadlines cannot be met for any reason, or if an extension is required
- Meets with Account Executives, as required, to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Advertising or related field required
- 3+ years of related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Writing experience in several forms of media preferred
- Ability to write internal correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
