Job Summary
The Account Executive supervises day-to-day efforts on behalf of our clients and is responsible for supporting and developing the strategic direction of brands through both digital and traditional applications. He/she serves as a liaison between our client contacts and internal agency departments and is directly responsible for managing the profitability of the account. He/she ensures that the agency provides the highest quality service/product and manages the workflow to ensure completion on time and within agreed upon budgets.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop positive relationships with clients and create an atmosphere in which the client is receptive to agency efforts to ensure organic growth and continued development of the account.
• Provide strategic and marketing guidance and leadership to client and agency team.
• Nurture, guide and influence budget allocation and growth initiatives for clients.
• Gain a thorough understanding of clients’ business and industry, in particular digital initiatives among other relevant best-in-class brands. Educate staff on same as appropriate.
• Proactively provide client with points of view and recommendations on business building, market research and competitive activities.
• Monitor all new product and new business opportunities at the Client, assess how the agency can capitalize on them and integrate into the digital space and provide updates with recommendations.
• Function as internal team leader, making sure that all members of the internal team work together smoothly and effectively.
• Ensure total quality control of final output to client encouraging excellence from all Agency resources.
• Generate or supervise the generation of accurate work orders and provide timely estimates/revised estimates when appropriate for all active projects.
• Assist in management of account profitability by generating or supervising the generation of financial reports and monitoring the hours against ongoing agency projects.
• Proactively anticipate both internal needs and client needs in the course of ensuring accurate and timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications/Skills
• College degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field preferred
• 5-7 years progressive experience in account, digital or marketing management, preferably with a retail emphasis.
• Analytical with an eye for detail across all aspects of the creative, commercial, editorial and technical processes.
• Practical knowledge of interactive marketing and execution for medium to large scale interactive / digital projects
• Versatility with strong experience of online marketing in some of the following: SEO, social media and email marketing. You will be expected to apply your knowledge of these on a daily basis with client and help maximize client visibility within the online market place, driving traffic and conversions.
• Understanding and experience with traditional marketing approaches; print, broadcast, direct, collateral, etc.
• Excellent analytics knowledge with the ability to communicate to clients verbally and written.
• Experience in revenue forecasting, billing processes, and development of budgets and estimates
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Displays sound judgment to problem-solve and take corrective action
• Comfortable with taking the lead relating to client interaction and participating in client-related activities
• Ability to give and accept direction
• Must be able to work well within a team environment, taking a leadership role when appropriate
About This Position
We are looking for a high-energy, super organized Digital Project Coordinator with a passion for interactive/digital media to add to our growing team.
Responsibilities include assisting in the management of all assigned projects so that they achieve deadline and budget goals. The PC is responsible for all client documentation, meeting preparation, helping to guarantee that internal development staff understand requirements, and has all appropriate documentation for development, maintenance and full project progress updates in internal tracking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Meticulously follow defined project processes.
- Maintain daily time sheets.
- Create, maintain and distribute appropriately and in a timely fashion all change orders/revisions, individual status reports, daily task tracking status reports on all projects, client status reports, meeting agendas, meeting minutes (Word, Excel, MPP, eProj, Client Network folder, Project notebooks).
- Gather client materials into electronic folders for development and creative as needed.
- Quickly and accurately relay client change orders/revisions to all appropriate agency personnel.
- Utilize established secure back-up processes
- Assist in the creation of RFP responses, invoices, client technical specifications and digital creative briefs.
- Work closely with the client’s AE or assigned PM to organize all project components.
- Coordinate the development of assigned project test plans, as well as scheduling the execution of the plan with agency and client staff.
- Learn the function of and how to create Gantt charts/timelines, creating and updating documentation such as content inventories, sitemaps, flow documents, etc., as needed to support team.
- Assist PMs in providing digital media personnel with all documents needed for successful development of projects.
- Quality control – assist the PM in making sure the project is on strategy, on budget, on time and is delivered to expectations. This may include supporting team on product testing.
- Maintain records of ALL client contact and appropriately file documentation in job jackets, binders and on the Hart server.
Qualifications/Skills
- Successful experience in an agency or other related customer service-oriented environment.
- Experience in software or interactive media development (in design, programming or other hands-on avenue is helpful), testing and quality control.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of personal organization and skills in project management, tracking and status reporting.
- Computer and software skills – PC experience, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or Access, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, electronic time-tracking tools and corporate intranets, WinZip, Adobe Acrobat, MSN Messenger.
