La-Z-Boy wanted to turn its massive brand awareness into increased online sales.
Insight
We knew if we were going to turn virtual shoppers into buyers, the ease of navigating, sharing, conversing and interacting in the digital space would have to be as comfortable for the consumer as operating a La-Z-Boy recliner.
Solution
We created an unprecedented online experience for La-Z-Boy. Specifically, we:
- Implemented user-friendly ways to shop and purchase products online
- Gave online shoppers the ability to customize their products
- Coordinated the launch of a 3D virtual room planner
- Launched a social media listening tool and began to respond to relevant online conversation in near-real time
- Developed and executed a social media strategy centered on La-Z-Boy’s Facebook page
Result
Since Hart and La-Z-Boy began working together on this digital initiative, we’ve helped streamline and improve the user experience, increase the time consumers spend on site, grow site traffic to its current level of 26,000 unique visitors per day, increase the client’s Facebook enthusiast base exponentially, and raise La-Z-Boy’s overall digital and social media profile.
La-Z-Boy’s sales data are proprietary; however, we can tell you that e-commerce sales have increased since the launch of this initiative.
